What we collect

When you send an appointment request through this website we collect your name, phone number, email address, the treatment you are interested in, your preferred date and anything you choose to write in the message box.

If you go on to become a patient we also hold the clinical records required by law, including your medical history, radiographs, photographs, treatment notes and payment records.

Why we hold it and our lawful basis

We use appointment request details only to contact you and arrange your care. Our lawful basis for this is legitimate interests, specifically responding to an enquiry you have chosen to send us.

For clinical records our lawful basis is the provision of health care under Article 9(2)(h) of the UK GDPR, together with our legal obligations as a registered dental practice.

How long we keep it

Appointment requests that do not lead to treatment are deleted after 12 months. Clinical records for adults are retained for 11 years after the last appointment, and for children until their 25th birthday, in line with Department of Health guidance.

Who we share it with

We never sell your data. We share it only where care requires it, for example with a dental laboratory, a specialist we refer you to, your GP with your consent, or an NHS emergency service. Your rights

You have the right to ask for a copy of your records, to have inaccurate information corrected, to object to certain processing, and to ask us to restrict or delete data where the law allows. Write to us and we will respond within one month.
